Unforgettable Gorilla Trekking Adventure Awaits You In Uganda

Encountering a wide Silver back gorilla and primates in their natural habitat is just amazing and humbling experience. With less than 1000 mountain gorillas left across the world, the ultimate privilege of that experience is truly awesome. Planning a gorilla trek in Uganda took a bit of legwork, but below are tips and information  I found them most helpful to start for a Uganda gorilla safari tour.

Where Can You Go For a Gorilla Trekking?
The endangered mountain gorilla species can only be found in three countries like the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and Rwanda. We had already booked a flight to Uganda, so our choice was between two countries like Uganda and Rwanda. After an extensive research on customer reviews, we have decided to go for a mountain gorilla trekking in Uganda. We knew that the trekking, mountain gorillas are easier in Uganda and visitors getting awe-inspiring spectacles of the mountain gorillas, as the Bwindi National Park is more densely forested.

There’s no specific standard experience. Each and every gorilla trek will vary, depending upon the day of your trek and the gorilla family you are assigned. Some groups need a shorter, easier trek and some groups need a longer, more difficult trekking expedition. Some groups will stay closer to the park boundaries and some will make you go further up the mountain. As groups are moving constantly, so the distance of a specific gorilla group varies easily. The gorilla hiking expedition can usually take around 1 to 5 hours.
